After the CNW tunnel collapsed at Tunnel City, WI in 1973, the CNW obtained trackage rights on the parallel Milwaukee Road and eventually abandoned most of its own track to LaCrosse and Winona.  The bridge carrying the CNW right-of-way over the Milwaukee Road at Fort McCoy was left intact.  Taken July 16, 2004 by Jerry Krug
