GP7 1518 Council Bluffs, IA GP- 1518 was the first GP7 built in 1949. It was EMD demonstrator 100. The 1519 and 1520 were also demonstrators. The C&NW rebuilt the 1518 and renumbered it to 4311. I WAS WORKING AT CB SHOP WHEN THIS WAS TAKEN, I ALSO KNEW THIS UNIT AT THE BUTLER SHOP...CNW4311.
