M-2 2122 Chicago, IL556 viewsThe M-2 class 0-6-0 was built by Schenectady in 1916 and predated the USRA design which used the same 21x28 cylinders, 51" drivers and 180lb. boiler pressure which produced the same 37,000 lbs. of tractive force. The wide firebox behind the drivers was also used by the USRA. The undated photo is from Railroad Photographs taken in Chicago probably by A.W.Johnson. Submitted by Edward J. Ozog.
