M&StL D-8 148 Minneapolis, MN604 viewsNo.148 was built for the Central Railway of Iowa by Manchester in 1882 and retired in 1935. The road became the Iowa Central in 1889 and merged with the M&StL in 1912. A Robert Graham photo taken in Minneapolis on July 2, 1927. Submitted by Edward J. Ozog.

M&StL D-8 149 Fort Dodge, IA597 viewsNo. 149, once named "Ashhurst", was one of 38 4-4-0's built by Manchester in 1881 and 1882. A dozen lasted until the 1930's. The D-8 was shot on the Fort Dodge, Iowa turntable on June 13, 1922 by an unidentified phographer. Submitted by Edward J. Ozog.

M&StL D-8 152 St.Paul, MN562 viewsNo. 152 was named "Henry F. Spalding" when delivered by Manchester to the Iowa Central in 1881. The D-8 was retired at age fifty in 1931. A Robert Graham photo taken in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 12, 1930. Submitted by Edward J. Ozog.
