SD40-2 6819 Elmhurst, IL

SD40-2 CNW 6819 was sold at a UP auction at North Platte, NE on December 8, 2003. Note the identifying sticker on the nose. Here is the engine being towed through Elmhurst on cloudy December 24, 2003. After arrival, it was towed back to West Chicago and interchanged to the EJE, who delivered it to Relco at Minooka, IL.
